Mr Beast bouwde 100 huizen en gaf ze weg: emotioneel!

Mr Beast, de grootste YouTuber aller tijden bouwde 100 huizen voor families in nood en gaf ze weg met eigendomscertificaat en voordeursleutel. Soms met een motor, een voetbalveld voor de kinderen van het dorp en wat maar nodig is erbij. Hij haalt mensen letterlijk uit krotten. Onbeschrijfelijk wat je ziet. Probeer het maar eens droog te houden, getuige ook de vele, vele, vele commentaren onder de video:

• Anyone else that spent that kind of money making a video would have made a 10 episode Netflix documentary out of it. This man made a 9 minute YT video. The humility and humanity is incredible. Good on you Mr.Beast! I look forward to seeing the great things you do later in life. KEEP THIS GOING!!!

• Jimmy literally went from spending money to do stupid stuff to spending money to help people across the entire planet. He is the most selfless person on this planet, and maybe even in history.

Hoe kun je hier nog negatief commentaar op hebben zou je zeggen… maar het kan! Ontwikkelingslanden zitten niet te wachten op dit soort hulp van het verwaande westen was de vorige keer met het plaatsen van 100 waterputten in Afrika een veelgehoorde kritiek. Nu heeft hij niet de plaatsnamen genoemd, het toewijzingsproces is niet transparant, dus oneerlijk. Zou het allemaal nep zijn? Dit zegt Mr Beast er over:

When we help people (curing 1000 blind people, building 100 houses, 100 wells, etc) people get mad and say I shouldn’t be doing this and governments should. Yes, ideally a YouTuber isn’t the one fixing these issues but I’m not just gonna stand by and do nothing.
