One day, they’ll be no more wars

I know someday it wil all turn around
cause all my life I’ve been waiting for
I’ve been praying for
for the people to say
that we don’t want to fight no more
they’ll be no more wars
and the children will play
One Day
Prachtig ook om de commentaren te lezen onder de YouTube, hier zijn er een paar:
- I’ve already accepted this song as national anthem of this world, With my heart
- I have watched this on repeat for 5 days. The unity of the people made me cry every time I play the video, that makes me even imagine that things like this are possible
- I’m an atheist and I cry every time I come back to this. It keeps giving me hope I didn’t know was there. I don’t care what people believe. As long as it helps them find kindness in themselves and others, it’s all good.
- My heart is so warm after watching this
- I have discovered this wonderful song today, in these moments of pain and suffering of our brothers and sisters in Palestine and Israel. I love to listen to it several times. I can’t help but cry. Let us unite to discover together our true essense that we are in the depths, coming out of ignorance and stopping this escalation of violence and unreason, with love
At Koolulam, we believe in people and in the power within each and every one of us. That’s why we’ve developed a unique creative language that touches individuals from diverse cultures, leading them on an empowering musical-spiritual journey. In just one evening, hundreds or even thousands of participants find themselves achieving things they never thought possible.
Time and time again, we discover that a melody can warm the heart more than words, that a perfect rhythm can make us dance like no one’s watching, and that musical harmony has the power to create human harmony.

One day, one day, one day
Sometimes I lay under the moon
And thank God I’m breathin’
Then I pray, “Don’t take me soon
‘Cause I am here for a reason”
Sometimes in my tears I drown
But I never let it get me down
So when negativity surrounds
I know someday, it’ll all turn around because
All my life, I’ve been waitin’ for
I’ve been prayin’ for, for the people to say
That we don’t wanna fight no more
There’ll be no more wars, and our children will play
One day (one day), one day (one day)
One day (oh-oh-oh)
One day (one day), one day (one day)
One day (oh-oh-oh)
Sometimes I lay under the moon
And thank God I’m breathin’
Then I pray, “Don’t take me soon
‘Cause I am here for a reason”
Sometimes in my tears I drown (I drown)
But I never let it get me down (get me down)
So when negativity surrounds (surrounds)
I know someday, it’ll all turn around because
All my life, I’ve been waitin’ for (waitin’ for)
I’ve been prayin’ for (prayin’ for), for the people to say
That we don’t wanna fight no more (fight no more)
There’ll be no more wars (no more wars), and our children will play
One day (one day), one day (one day)
One day (oh, oh, oh, oh-oh-oh, one day)
One day (one day), one day (one day)
One day (oh-oh-oh)
One day, this all will change, treat people the same
Stop with the violence, down with the hate
One day, we’ll all be free and proud to be
Under the same sun, singin’ songs of freedom like
Wah-yo (one day, one day), wah-yo, oh, oh (oh-oh-oh)
Wah-yo (one day, one day), wah-yo, oh, oh (oh-oh-oh)
All my life, I’ve been waitin’ for
I’ve been prayin’ for, for the people to say
That we don’t wanna fight no more
There’ll be no more wars, and our children will play
Tomorrow, the day will come
The day will come
Tomorrow, the day will come
The day will come
All my life, I’ve been waitin’ for
I’ve been prayin’ for, for the people to say
That we don’t wanna fight no more
There’ll be no more wars, and our children will play
One day, one day, one day
One day, one day, one day
One day, one day, (Tomorrow the day will come) One day
